Have you got what it takes?
- Conduct on site building reviews, and prepare building conditions assessments.
- Manages project delivery, define project scope, specify deliverables, estimate and control project duration.
- Ability to have clear, concise and technical communication with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, upper management, and contractors.
- Performs site visitations to determine feasibility and cost effectiveness of potential projects.
- Ability to communicate project requirements to project team (engineering/estimators/construction).
- Experience and understanding with commercial, industrial construction projects, permitting requirements,
- Apply Triple Bottom Line (financial, social and environmental) thinking to each client project.
- Prepare client proposals, investigation reports and construction documents.
- Keep the client informed of site issues impacting project quality and resolve issues as required.
- Conduct project team start-up meetings, delegate responsibilities, and identify any gaps in resources or training that need to be filled.
- Knowledge of GMP and LEED is an asset.
- Understanding of capital expenditure projects is an asset.
Experience
- Building Sciences Degree
- Engineering Degree (structural/mechanical/electrical)
- Architectural Technologist
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Sales and business development experience is a plus
- Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic decisions

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
