We are looking for Licensed 306A Plumber to join our Construction department. A Service Plumber is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. This role involves working in diverse settings, commercial, and industrial properties. The Service Plumber should have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, be skilled in troubleshooting plumbing issues, and be capable of working efficiently in a service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing systems are integrated into new structures efficiently
- Identify and diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Develop effective solutions for plumbing problems and implement repairs as needed.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Stay informed about changes in plumbing codes and industry best practices.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications
- Assemble and install piping systems according to design and safety specifications.
- Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of plumbing systems.
- Perform inspections to identify potential issues and prevent future problems.
- Ensure the quality of plumbing work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Conduct inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of completed plumbing installations.
Here are the skills you bring to the team
- 306A Plumber License
- Registered member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Must have a valid driver’s license (G Class)
- Demonstrates ability to perform the physical work as required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrated communication skills – electronic, verbal, and written
- Minimum 3-year recent experience in an industrial / institutional/ commercial maintenance environment with a similar role preferred.
- Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize work load- adapting to changing demands with flexibility and efficiency.
